- Richard Hay Review added: 2018.10.28★ ★ ★ ★ ★My wife and I stayed this last July for a number of nights, excellent hosts, great breakfast, room very clean and the bed most comfortable. Paul and Carla are wonderful hosts can not do enough for you, highly recommended. Our family from England and Canada stay at the Kingfisher Cottage when visiting family in Tavistock, very central to the historic town centre. Maybe they will be serving up Canadian Pancakes with real Canadian maple syrup!
